PRESIDENT –Dennis Doughty Second year on Casey Key. BSEE, University of Notre Dame and MS University of Southern California. Twenty six year career with Booz Allen Hamilton with positions in engineering, consulting, and management. Active in community affairs. Married to Dawn, two children and a granddaughter. VICE PRESIDENT – John Moore Visitor and resident on Casey Key since 1970. BA Wesleyan University. Dental and surgical degrees from Ohio State and University of Michigan. Dental surgeon. PHD in biblical studies and current participant in archaeological excavation in Jordan. Married to Zoe, two children and three grandchildren. VICE PRESIDENT -Chad Weiss Owner on Casey Key since 1998. BA, Vanderbilt University and MBA, University of Chicago. Long career as a specialist in the energy financial sector. Board member of several energy concerns and National Forest Foundation. Active in Sarasota charities. Married to Wendy. Three children. Enjoys sailing, skiing, golf, and fishing.
SECRETARY -Valerie DallAcqua Casey key resident since 2006. Majored in Marketing plus graduate studies at Northwestern University. Successful careers in marketing and currently, real estate. Married to Charles.
TREASURER -Connie Davis 2012 DIRECTORS Walton Beacham Walton and Deborah moved to Casey Key sixteen years ago from Washington, D.C. where, together, they operated Beacham Publishing, a boutique reference publisher. In Sarasota, Walton has designed seven Tuscan-inspired villas on Casey key, has become a playwright, and continues to work in publishing. Deborah, a Realtor with Michael Saunders & Co, was treasurer of the CKA for three years, is past president of Key Chorale, and is currently a member of the board of La Musica.
Susan Doane Ten year resident of Casey Key. BA Horticulture, University of Maryland. Experienced in Interior Plant Design business. Married to Dennis, three sons. Enjoys creating shell mirrors, cooking, and exercising. Jo Hale Jo's husband, Ted's parents were long time residents on the key. Jo and Ted moved here last year. Jo is retired from Xerox. Strengths are organizational skills, gardening and decor. Active in community affairs and very concerned about preserving the ambiance of the area.
Tom Stuhley Home owner since 1984. Full time resident 2 years. University of Arizona, Tucson, B.A. Speech and Economics. Retired CEO- Chairman/ Owner Mid America Bank. Married to Cindy, 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Involved in various boards- Trustee Aurora Univ., Aurora Healthcare, Geneva Lake Assoc. and Tidewell Hospice.
